Impressionism
Edouard Manet
His passion for art came from his father. He did a lot of traveling to get inspiration for his paintings, which had more of a modern look of that time period. More of a contemporary artist and an impressionist.
Claude Monet
He expressed different motions and expressing one's perceptions before nature.
Pierre Auguste Renoir
Started off painting for retail until his quickly painted portraits showed up in museums.
Edgar Degas
Known for his work in painting, sculpture, printmaking, and drawing. Loved going to dance performances and preferred to be called a "realist" rather than an impressionist. Also included racecourse subjects and nude woman.
