Trompe l'oeil

Trompe l'oeil is a visual illusion in art, especially as used to trick the eye into perceiving a painted detail as a three-dimensional object. In French, it means "deceives the eye." A famous artist who uses this type of style in his artwork is named John Pugh. He's been doing this for almost 3 decades in different places all around the world.

Personally, I've always loved illusions, I find them to be very interesting to look at since these artists capture a way that deceives the eye. To me, it looks very complicated but it's impressive how well they turn out to be.
