Boston Field Trip
On October 30th, School One took a trip to Boston with a choice to go to either the Fine Arts or the Science Museum. I went to the Fine Arts since I have never been there before.

I have always enjoyed going to plays and theater productions so I took an interest in this piece and the old traditions of the theater.

Why I liked this painting is not just the painting itself but more of the description about it. How Okada Kenzo stated that "...wherever I am, the important thing for me is to be receptive to what nature has to offer...to find the splendor of beauty in the simplest of forms." Of course, I find the picture itself to be very different and unique.

I thought this was so cool how it was made from cast glass. Plus I've always had an interest in Chinese/Japanese culture so I loved how it was a kimono. It almost didn't look real.

I've always had a small interest in tea sets and there was something satisfying about looking at it.

I really liked this painting for the simplicity in the scene of the two young girls in a meadow and how vintage it comes across as.

I like your sharing. I also like simplicity art. Maybe some of the works we didn't see, but I can see them from your images. They are beautiful. I love that dress, it's so cool. It looks like Chinese or Japanese old fashion dress(Hanfu or kimono), but it's not polychrome or complicated to see. I like it when it's simplicity. I like the ideal for adding new thoughts on old things, and the artist did it! Those tea sets are so cool. I love it.
