Yves Tanguy
Yves Tanguy is considered a "quintessential Surrealist". He painted a lot of backgrounds, shadows, and a variety of interesting objects. He wanted his work to trigger sensations or questions, as in having the piece of art speak for itself to whoever was looking at it. In its own way, his artwork is similar to Miro's.
